Can we all change our language to stop giving the Gun Manufacturers’ Lobby cover by pretending they are an organization of sportsmen and enthusiast dedicated to gun safety? I’m not even going to mention their official name or initials as I’m sure you all know who I am referring to when I say the Gun Manufacturers’ Lobby.
As stated in today’s front page post:

It is of course worth noting that the [Gun Manufacturer’s Lobby] is mostly propped up by gun manufacturers now, functioning as a “a virtual subsidiary of the gun industry,” according to sources cited by Business Insider. In essence, the [Gun Manufacturer’s Lobby] is the middleman for the gun industry’s efforts to use mass shootings to sell more guns.
And:
The more disturbing implication here is that gun industry and [Gun Manufacturer’s Lobby] activity not only respond to mass shootings, but have a positive correlation on their likelihood.
At least, can we at least append, the Gun Manufacturer’s Lobby everytime we utter those initials.
